ABOUT TRUST

PES&T is a trust with commitment. It is involved in quality and professional education in North Karnataka in the field of Homoeopathic Medical science obtained ISO 9001:2000 quality certificate for their hospital and medical college. The AMSC and hospital has voluntarily got NAAC accreditation and obtained 4 star from NAAC. To extend its activities to management education, the Trust has launched a 2 year full time MBA programme from the academic year 2004-05. It has enviable faculty to take and guide students to the frontiers of Management Education .

CLASSROOMS

BIMS (MBA) believes in modern technology with personal touch in all its endeavors and our classrooms reflect this in full measure. They are equipped with modern teaching aids like LCD, OHP, and other necessary paraphernalia.

Teaching is an interactive and enlightening experience between teachers and the taught. This requires serene, spacious, and refreshing milieu away from the crowd. Our classrooms meet more that these requirements.

LIBRARY

The institute’s library is the main source of information. It is well equipped with books, journals, besides audio-visual aids in the form of CDs and Video Cassettes. The institute subscribes to a good number of periodicals, newspapers, national-international journals and other study materials for students and faculty members. It is an ocean of knowledge where a student or researcher can freely and easily access the required information.

COMPUTER LAB AND INTERNET SERVICES

Today no education is complete without computer skills aptly required at that level. BIMS (MBA) has taken special care to setup a computer lab with state-of- the-art-computers. The Computer lab is fully networked and 24 hours Internet facility is provided for students and staff. Exposure to Internet is fundamental for every management student in this era of liberalization and globalization. Free browsing facilities are provided in the lab with Lease Line Internet connection.

CONFERENCE HALL

BIMS conference hall is equipped with modern state-of-art technology with LCD and OHP. Our students are able to interact with executives and guests for enriching and building their futures.

MDPS & WORKSHOPS

BIMS (MBA) also organizes workshops and Management Development Programmes (MDPs) in the field of corporate to keep pace with changes in market and industry. In this regard we have conducted various programmes such as Research Methodology, Leveraging HR for Higher Profitability, Training & Development, Employee Engagement, etc., for our students, faculty from various colleges and people from various Industries.

FOREIGN UNIVERSITY COLLABORATION

Under this programme, BIMS (MBA) also invites faculty from foreign Universities. Dr. Krishnan Lal and Dr. Marvin Painter, from University of Saskatchewan (Canada) visited our institute under this exchange Programme.

INDUSTRIAL AND INSTITUTION INTERFACE

The exposure and understanding of industry is a key factor in transforming students into professionals who can deliver the result on the job. To provide industry focus to our students case studies of local industries are being undertaken by the institute. For this the institute has maintained regular industry contacts.

PLACEMENT CELL

BIMS (MBA) considers education as joint venture between students and our institution. In fact, it is enduring relation between the two. We do not sever the relationship once the exams are over. We want all our students to be placed in top ranking business organizations. Our Institution has a placement cell to monitor the placements of our students throughout their career. In this way we want to maintain a lasting partnership between the students and the Institute.

CULTURAL ACTIVITIES

The students of BIMS (MBA) have not lagged behind in their exposure to the arts and culture of India. They regularly conduct activities, designed to enhance the appreciation levels of fine arts and Indian culture.

TRANSPORT

BIMS (MBA) has arranged its own transport facility to all MBA students so that they have easy access from the Shaikh Campus, (Nehru Nagar) to BIMS(MBA) Campus at Bhootaramanahatti. The journey is so delighted that the buses are equipped with video so that we can display CDs pertaining to management gurus and their practices during travel.
