Methodology

We, at BIMS (PG) , aim at building careers and not just imparting education or providing knowledge. Special emphasis will be placed on all round development of students. Our thrust will be on an open and dynamic system of education that is driven by continuous interaction with the external environment. Interactive sessions with experts from business and industry, renowned member of the teaching fraternity and other professionals will be constantly held so as to enable students to gain diverse and different perspective. Our vision is to develop the process of management education itself to the status of applied science, so that our Mangers excel in every business environment.

BIMS will adopt a training methodology that uses Learning focused teaching systems. Traditional lecture methods will be supplemented by case study approach that will enable students to understand and solve real time management issues through application of concepts learnt during the lectures. The effectiveness of the case-study method will be enhanced with other aids such as management stories, games, role-plays, simulation exercises, in-basket drills, assignments, projects, computer training, etc.

Our objectives include recruitment and retention of the best minds as faculty. Visiting faculty drawn from the best institutions, corporates and consultancy firms, will enrich the learning process further. Our faculty members will act as facilitators of learning rather than mere lecture delivery mechanisms.
